Organisation Review Tool

We have developed a review tool for team members, management and governance to reflect on how your organisation’s work aligns with Mana Taiohi and the Code of Ethics for Youth Work in Aotearoa.

Reviews and reflection are an important part of best practice for organisations. Our review tool will help you reflect on how your work aligns with Mana Taiohi and the Code of Ethics for Youth Work in Aotearoa. Any team or organisation working in youth development can undertake a review.

You can gather input from team members, management and governance to gain insights on where your organisation’s strengths are and where there is room for growth.

At the completion of each review your organisation will receive personalised recommendations, practical suggestions and learning materials to help you grow and transform your practice.

How will this review add value to my organisation?

Help your team and organisation to ensure your youth work practice is aligning with Mana Taiohi and the COE for Youth Work in Aotearoa through an accessible and easy-to-use online tool based on best practice in Aotearoa.
Filter Data by Role & Location: Help your team understand if governance, management and kaimahi in single or multiple locations are all on the same page through our filter system which allows you to view results by role and location. The data is anonymised and tagged, so our software can filter your data by role and location

Roles such as workers in governance (eg board), management (eg programme developer or supervisor) and youth workers on the ground so that you can see how unified you all are or where you could find space for better communication.
Location such as regional offices or different campuses.

Recommendations to Raise Standards: Provide your team with practical suggestions and resources to help you strengthen your youth work practice based on the latest youth development mātauranga. Recommendations are based on consultation with some of the most legendary youth workers and researchers in Aotearoa.
It’s Free: Provide your team and organisation with a free tool to regularly review and reflect on your youth work practice. You can schedule annual or biennial reviews and compare change over time.

How it Works

Select an administrator to coordinate your organisation’s responses. This person will invite the rest of your organisation to join, finalise and the share the review with the rest of your team.

Email Invitations – Sent to participants. The administrator can set a deadline for completion and resend invitation links.

Anonymised & Tagged Responses – Participants can be categorised via their organisational role (e.g. governance, management or kaimahi) and location (e.g. regional offices or different campuses).

Real Time Results – Watch our software collate your results live as responses are submitted.

Compare Your Results – Once all your results are in, see how your practice aligns with Mana Taiohi and the Code of Ethics for Youth Work in Aotearoa.
