The Code of Ethics is a foundation component of the Korowai Tupu Core Competencies.
Using examples of your work with young people; your colleagues; your employer, models/theories of youth development, ethics and professional development - please demonstrate knowledge, practice and reflection against the following competencies.
You can write your responses or upload a video for each answer. As a guideline for each section (knowledge, practice, reflection) should be around 100-200 words (bullet points are fine).

If you wish to present your answer in a video, please note there is a file size limit of 16MB per video. And you may only submit in MP4 or MKV format.
Note: Please discuss Te Tiriti o Waitangi and your understanding of the how this affects youth work. This question with your pepeha is referred to our Cultural Advisors. Please include everything you would like them to consider in your answer or clearly refer to other relevant answers.
Once your application is successful you will receive on invoice for your annual membership fee.

One from a manager or supervisor (including their contact details) and one from a young person you have worked with. If you are unable to access a reference from a young person please provide evidence as to the reason you are unable to do this. We ask that you look for other ways to provide feedback of your relationships with young people (eg. non-identifiable thank you cards or notes).
A second reference from someone who has seen you work directly with young people will also be required. These can be written or referees can speak via video or audio file.
