This conference is about giving rangatahi a space to breath, to disengage from normal school life / classes, and to focus on their wellbeing, including developing skills and leadership.
It is facilitated by the student leadership team in the college, whereby they come up with the plans for the day (in consultation with students in the college).
The activities include a full day out of the school environment whereby students have a main session first thing in the morning with a speaker, and then have various wellbeing and leadership workshops throughout the day.
These workshops are still being decided on by the student leaders and in seeking advice from the rangatahi who will be in attendance.
All 600 young people in the senior school will be given the day off normal scheduled classes to participate in this experience.
