Taiki e! Next Gen
Tāiki e! Next Gen is looking forward to officially launching, Next Gen Escapes. Tairāwhiti’s first Escape Room located in Treble Court at noon on 7 May 2022.
Next Gen Escapes is a youth led business where proceeds not only go towards running a sustainable business model but also has the potential to resource future entrepreneurial education, activity and investment into youth led enterprise. Youth employment is also an additional positive outcome of this initiative.
The launch kicks off Youth Week in Tairā`whiti, which celebrates our rangatahi and the value and contribution that they make to the vibrancy of our community. The idea for an escape room came from our rangatahi and it has been an amazing journey to this point to go through such an incredibly creative and collaborative process, to work as a whole whānau to create something really special for our community.
