Our Youth Week event was co-designed by our Youth Board and rangatahi from our Alternative Education programme, making it truly youth-led. It will run from 10am–3pm on Saturday 24 May. In the morning, there’ll be free fitness and kickboxing classes, and throughout the day we’ll have The Block (30m inflatable obstacle course) and zorb balls from Blue Light, plus a basketball hoop, volleyball net, gaming competition, free virtual reality, interactive art activations, live performances, giveaways, and free haircuts. There will also be food stalls and some free food available. It’s a full day that celebrates rangatahi and helps them stand up and live proud.
