For Youth Week 2024, the team at Te Whatu Ora Waitaha Youth Advisory Council is celebrating the theme 'Māwherangi a tama roto ka taka, kāpuia ake ka pūrangiaho' 'We may not have it all together but together we have it all' with this free event to offer a fun way to try something new with your mates!
What: Roller Skate Disco with fun music, lights, and glow sticks. Everything you need is provided including skates. However, if you happen to have your own roller skates, you are more than welcome to bring them! Snacks and drinks will be provided. A goodie bag will also be given to all attendees.
Theme: The dress-up theme is "What you wanted to be when you grew up" and there is lots of awesome spot prizes available for best dressed! Whilst dress up is not required, we highly encourage it!
Who: Anyone between the ages of 15-24 years old
When: Sunday 26th May 5:45pm-7:30pm
Where: Graham Condon and Recreation Sport Centre, 3 Sisson Drive, Papanui, Christchurch. You will find us in Sports Hall 2.
