Day one – “Theatre Day” We invite the youth to make and record a short scene.
Day two – “Sports day” held at our local rugby club, where there will be teams that will come together and play touch.
Day three – “Tye dye day” a day where the youth will Tye dye shirts to sell at stores on community day.
Day four – “Day full of music” Whether they are singing or playing an instrument, where our youth can come and share their talents.
Day five – “It’s time for our future chefs and bakers to shine” Our youth will create a small menu and make food for our community day that will be held on the Saturday, where it will be sold at stalls where all our money raised will go back into resources for our youth.
Day six – We will hold a small community event where we will make a slideshow that will be shared to show how our youth became leaders and worked as a team, supporting one another over the week.
A day full of celebration in our community, that our youth will participate and run.
Our biggest hope with our youth week is that our youth come as a team, grow confidence knowing they can do it and become the leaders we know they can be.
