North Rodney Blue Light has been operating for 30 years in the area based from the Wellsford Police Station. The branch works with many community groups to achieve postive outcomes. Our mission statement is "Empowering Youth to Make Positive Choices for Themselves and Their Community. Te Whai Community Trust operates out of the Mangawhai area and have contacted us to provide some of our outdoor activities we provide and instruct in. Te Whai have been working with local youth from Mangawhai and we see Youth week as an opportunity to deliver leadership skills through our Blue Light outdoor activities. We also may be able to assist youth who attend the Army and St Johns cadets who we have provided opportuities in the past.
