A free sausage sizzle will be run with the students completing a leadership activity to get a sausage. The students will be given a piece of card that has a question about how they are or want to be leaders in the community. Once the student has completed the activity they will hand in the piece of card and get a sausage. The messages from all three schools will be used to make a mural for Kāpiti Youth Support. This will be painted onto a piece of wood and displayed at KYS to make people feel empowered to be leaders in their own ways in the future.
