Some of the older youth are already leading on the court in their teams and at their trainings. We want to show the community the leaders they are and the leaders they can be. Alot of what is shown in leadership is just on the basketball court but we can see the potential of these rangatahi to show rangatiratanga to their community. We will have these youth leaders out front at presentations and at the bbq.and heavily involved at all levels of the event We adults will be at the back in supporter roles. youth will also work alongside local artist Gary Silipa to develop a youth mural that will be painted on the day by youth. All these aspcts we feel will cover most areas of mana taiohi.
