A multi-agency exercise including Hato Hone St John (operations & Youth); Youth Search & Rescue; NZ Cadet Forces, and Surf Lifesaving. All these groups coming together at Waihi Beach to save the lives of volunteer patients spread throughout the bush and sea. They will be working together to find, rescue, triage, and treat each patient with the assistance of operational teams and a mass casualty setup courtesy of HHSJ Major Incident Support Team. Gazebo setups from multiple youth related organisations will be on display next to the ongoing exercise showcasing to the public the opportunities, help and events available to young people in the area. The organisations include local councils, youth organisations, and hopefully you guys or someone from MYD.
