I have been working with all cultures for 30 years as a Social Worker. I believe in enhancing the practice of others by applying my combined knowledge and experience of frontline practice. To guide and focus the supervision journey, with your valuable input. You can expect to gain support and knowledge pertaining to Mātauranga Māori (Māori knowledge) and the application of this knowledge in the service of people.
I am also working on my Masters in Social Policy at Victoria University, which means I can help with conceptual thinking, planning and report writing. As a Cultural Supervisor I can assist in advising on best practice principles pertaining to indigenous theories and models. I believe supervision is a journey of discovery, your voice is important, your needs and expectations are important. With this in mind we can tailor the sessions, so they address whats present and relevant for you and your journey. Walking with me enables sure footing.
