Toia Chase
I currently work at Single Parent Services Waikato as a counsellor specialising in working with youth and kids, supervise counselling placement students and do groupwork too. I also work privately, providing counselling under a few different contracts (including ACC sensitive claims, PHO and Te Wananga o Aotearoa) and provide supervision as well as co-facilitate workshops. I also recently became a Celebrant.
My background includes working as a youth counsellor in mainly NGO settings and schools, as a youth leader in church (in youth group, music, dance) and providing supervision internally and externally to organisations. I have also done some teaching in the past in a tertiary institute and still do presentations on occasion.
