I'm a dedicated wife, mother of twins, and professional supervisor. My personal life is enriched by my husband's and children's Tokelau culture. Professionally, I've worked in corrections, social services, special education, and currently in local government. In local government, I navigate the complexities of changing policies and politics, supporting diverse staff in their youth work and community development initiatives. I hold a qualification in Social Anthropology and a Diploma in Kaitiakitanga, enhancing my ability to provide culturally responsive guidance and support. As a supervisor, I provide a safe space for professionals to reflect, explore challenges, and celebrate successes, promoting social justice, equity, and cultural responsiveness.
