I am passionate about supporting supervisees to be the very best version of themselves. I do this by using a strengths-based and developmental approaches to foster spaces where supervisees can test theories, explore creating system change, engage in ethical decision making and reflect on how they embed the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi into their daily practice. Understanding and engaging supervisees in areas of whenua, wairua, hinengaro, tinana and whānau, supports and challenges supervisees to consider their own world view, promotion of self-care and culturally effective practice with rangatahi. I have held roles or led teams in the fields of addictions, family conflict and child consultancy, youth health services and tertiary health services with older adults. I have worked both in Kaupapa Māori and tauiwi organisation's and have been fortunate to practice in Aotearoa New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom. |
