I come with extensive knowledge and experience in management and leadership within the youth and social service sector. I have led diverse teams, developed outcomes-based programmes and services, implemented youth development best practice and built and integrated innovative initiatives within one of New Zealand’s leading youth one-stop-shops. Cognitive Behavior Therapy, De-Escalation, Sexual Abuse and Disclosures, Pathway Planning, Privacy Act 2020, Cultural Competency (Māori), De-Escalation, Suicide Prevention, HEEADSSS, Youth Health Literacy, Mana Taiohi – Principals Of Youth Development, ABCs of Neurodiversity, CPI Safety Intervention (Crisis Prevention), Motivational Interviewing.
Some of my proudest accomplishments have included privilege of representing New Zealand on an international level with the Ship for World Youth and setting up a small charitable project taking teams of kiwis on short term humanitarian trips to third world countries
