Ara Taiohi

I am a registered Social worker, have completed my Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Supervision at ARA (Ōtautahi) and have worked in different fields such as intensive family and whānau support (Multisystemic Therapy clinician), foster care, care and protection, residential youth services (Ōtautahi and Germany) and the public hospital (mainly ED & ICU). I am currently leading the Multisystemic Therapy team in Ōtautahi. I am a husband, proud father of 2 children and identify with my German heritage (moved when I was 19). I love spending time with my family, meeting new people and hearing their stories. A highlight for me was walking the length of New Zealand with my wife where we met all sorts of wonderful human beings and received a lot of kindness.
