Having dedicated over a decade to supporting rangatahi in Residential, Community and Justice settings I offer a deep understanding of their challenges and strengths. My experience beginning as a Counsellor and Support worker many years ago and growing through to a Clinical Manager and Supervisor has honed my ability to guide and empower other Practitioners, which translates into a strong capacity for oversight and advocacy. I am now working in an organisation focused on transforming the national conversation and reducing stigma around mental health and addiction, while also maintaining a private practice in both counselling and supervision.
I enjoy a challenge, love to learn and am deeply passionate about contributing to spaces where I can share and grow my expertise. It is always a privilege to channel my commitment and insights into shaping and maintaining a supportive and effective workforce, ensuring the considerations for our rangatahi and practitioners are heard and needs met and addressed with empathy, practical insights, a relaxed environment and some humour thrown in.
