Over the past 11 years I have worked in various roles in NGOs, primary mental health and statutory care and protection; this diverse experience has given me the ability to work in innovative and creative ways alongside community. I have developed particular passions for community development, kaupapa Māori models of practice, group facilitation and supervision and believe these are powerful spaces to connect and inspire change and growth. I am passionate about strong leadership and supporting my staff through supervision to grow their practice. As a Māori practitioner I deeply believe in the wisdom of te ao Māori, maintaining authentic relationships with iwi, hapu and mana whenua and ensuring that myself and my team are Te Titiriti led. Most importantly I'm a māmā of 3 tamariki and parenting is most my most important mahi. "Poipoia te kākano kia puawai" |
