My youth development journey began as a young volunteer nearly 20 years ago. Since then, I have worked in service delivery and management as well as tutoring and lecturing in youth development and undertaking youth development research. I provide individual and group supervision covering all areas of youth development practice.
As a registered youth worker and psychotherapist, my supervision approach is holistic and focused on growing your professional and personal capacities as you navigate this crazy-beautiful work.
I also bring a strong focus on Core Competencies for Youth Work and current research. Having worked in management with small and large, paid and voluntary teams, I am passionate about supporting people to thrive as leaders in this field, but through my teaching experience also enjoy supporting those beginning their careers.
As a cis-gendered, heterosexual, Pākehā female, I work to be a Treaty partner and an ally to the diverse communities of Aotearoa.
