Gayle Lauder
I have been a supervisor for many years, working alongside practitioners in health, youth work, social services, corrections, youth justice and education.My own mahi as a Registered Nurse has been with youth and their whānau as a practitioner and leadership, in community settings that include: Youth One Stop Shop, Oranga Tamariki residences, family harm, sexual health. Currently I am working in the education sector.These roles have given me the privilege and insight into the absolute talents and strengths of our young people, and the challenges that they face. As well as the commitment, passion and demands that those working with youth experience too.Outside of work I am a Mama, and being with my whānau and friends is important to me. I identify as lesbian and use she/her pronouns.I love being creative, going to the gym, and ocean dips all year round.
