| Kia ora, I have been working in the Education and Social sector services for some time and being able to bring my knowledge and experience to the frontline specialist practice. As a Kaitiaki my role and responsibility, to provide guidance and mentorship in a supervision space adding value to Kaitiakitanga. As a Cultural Supervisor, I value the commitment in developing my skills further by studying the Masters in Indigenous Studies at Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiarangi. I am able to allow space to conceptualise thinking and sharing ideas where best practices are examined under the gentle guide of Kaupapa Māori theory and bicultural models of practice.
