David Pepe John
An Experienced & registered Social Worker, David is the founder of Akono Consultancy (Private Practice), based in South Auckland, New Zealand. He has more than 20 years experience in the Social Work profession including youth work services plus 20 years in faith-based youth work, 3 years’ experience as an external supervisor in private practice, and 3 years’ experience in clinical supervision as a Team Leader for an NGO. David currently lives in South Auckland with his wife, and their daughter.His supervision approach is based on strength-based, solution focused, faith and cultural principals to youth work. Supervision is also offered to other professions including counsellors, social workers, and faith-based or community workers.
