I hold a Bachelor of Social Science - Te Whare Wānanga o Waikato 1997, Masters of Social Work Applied (Honours) - Massey University 2006 and Postgraduate Diploma Bicultural Professional Supervision - Te Wānanga o Aotearoa 2018. Current membership 6022, Annual Practicing Certificate and Certificate of Good Standing - Social Workers Registration Board and, membership 467763 - Australian Association of Social Work.
I am in private practice full-time and my focus is to deliver a service user centred approach and support for my supervisees. I am conscious about a healthy lifestyle and the need to reflect on both my professional and personal mahi. Therefore, I have regular supervision with my supervisor - Emma Webber-Dreadon in Tauranga. My whānau and mokopuna keep me grounded, with my wife Tiahuia as we celebrated 28 years together in April 2019. I am a non-smoker and enjoyed an alcohol free lifestyle for 36 years. My full drivers licence maintains no restrictions and I regularly gain Police vetting approval when required by my networks. Please view my website: www.culturaladvice.maori.nz for further information.
