I have approached my career in a very logical way, to gain as much experience and knowledge from multiple areas of social work, counselling, and leadership roles. I have gained a lot by doing so, which I then share within my supervision practice. I am a qualified social worker, with a post grad in Psychology and Counselling with over 200 hours of CPD. I work as WBOP Suicide bereavement support coordinator 2 days and week and 3 days in my private practice where I offer EAP, ACC sensitive claims, PHO counseling, and supervision services to currently 12 practitioners from varied scopes and fields both in person and online via zoom which works really well.
I believe my main strength as a supervisor is my ability to build trust in a co-created space quickly, where real conversations and insight occur naturally.
I utilize multiple tools and approaches from scopes of practice and disciplines to share, teach and develop professional competency, awareness, and growth. I tailor to your needs and share resources and links to support professional development and tools to use with clients.
