The Ministry of Youth Development (MYD) – Te Manatū Whakahiato Taiohi, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, has launched the Ākonga Youth Development Community Fund – Strengthening Ākonga Resilience to Achieve Better Education Outcomes.
In line with the Government’s Youth Plan, the Fund will also have a particular focus on the following groups of young people:
Open for applications until 12 January 2021, there is a total of $7.8m contestable funding available which is time-limited for two academic years (i.e. 2021 and 2022) only. Responses to the Request for Proposals (RFP) must be submitted online through SmartyGrants which can be accessed here.
